I put both of mine in middle of summer was very hot outside and was advised not to get in the sun to much with them, i did anyway and nothing wrong with them.

Well, heat isnt exactly good for healing open wounds

they used to burn wounds at some stage to courterize them or whatever the spelling is?

Nah, has nothing to do with pain...its more with healing, they dont heal as good when its hot outside or when in the sunlight.

well im gonna be on holiday the week i do it so VERY doubtful ill be outside when i can be playing DAOC or sims2
