Simple question, please give simple answer

I was half thinking of re-activating my account since im a little bored but after readng this forum can someone answer me this.
If i reactivate am i gonna log on to find that my char is butt nekkid with little chance of getting me equipment back before i get sick and cancel again?

Alot of accounts were affected however other accounts (like mine) the alts were only affected so no major loss.
Re-activate log on and party when find you have clothes still

it is possible that your characters are naked. The thing is there is not way of finding out until you have reeactivated it.

so my forever closed mid/pryd acc could have stripped chars even tho i didnt get a mail from goa?
(got mail about my hib/pryd chars)

I didnt get affected at all in this so the chances are you didnt either. Another guildie that had his account closed for a while didnt get affected either so maybe if you havent played for a bit you will still be wearing clothes but i wouldnt be on it tho.

Guess u only have to renew to discover what's happened.
I only got 1 level 24 toon with problems, so u might be lucky as me

Simple answer is it's a total lottery. Some peeps had multiple toons stripped including mains, some didn't have any.
Personally, out of 2 accounts and about 5 or 6 slots with toons on in each account, I only had 1 toon stripped which I could live without (48th lvl bainshee).

As Maeloch said.. its a lottery.. out of the 20 odd toons I have on hib/pryd... I only had 1 of mine stripped.

some people found that only the chars they had played recently got stripped while others found that chars they didnt play for ages got stripped.
it was a pretty random purge of certain data, however if your unsure you could send a rightnow mail stating that you havnt reactivated however could they check the character data to be sure ?
i had 4 of my chars changed on 1 account however 1 was a main and 3 were thid alts so wasnt too bad.
