I think it might be written by a woman. Well i could have written it anyway. I dont want my hero to have a too large weapon.

There's a psychological theory behind the reason why some women smoke cigarettes, called "Penis Envy". This is a genuine theory centred around the idea that some women are envious about the male sex organ. The cigarette is a phallic symbol to such women and smoking is a sort of "compensation" for them not having a penis.

Champions' weapons being reduced in size, if it's been done by a woman programmer could be another way of "compensating" for the lack of the male sex organ, in this case, by reducing the size of it so it becomes less enviable.

Or.. It's not the size of the cannon, but the force of the shot that counts ;)
