Yes folks it can be done... takes about 4 hours and a lot of patience... but it can be done the old fashioned way tank power

of cause the dragon can be killed the old fashioned way - just that some peeps dont want to share the 25 respec stones with a group more than 8

any screenies btw? i have an advertisement of daoc with the dragon in it catacob style and he looks lame - want to know if its just a bad screenie or something

All respec stones were lottoed - if you are quick you might get one of them on a CM.
It just shows that this server community puts greed before need now - Dard offered to auction them off for the Hib Defense Fund and the majority wanted a chance to lotto, then said givf to Hib Defense Fund.

Sorry for the guys that did the agro control - it must have been boring but nonetheless you did a very splendid job allowing us to get the dragon down for all of us.

That was the first time I have been on a successful dragon raid so from my point of view it was time well spent. Oddly I only came on for a 30 minute burst but 4 hrs later was quite happy with the outcome.

Kind of a shame about the lack of willingness to auction the extra stones off, seems like now is a good time to start building a fund ready for getting the relics back but I can understand the preference for some time to think of yourself.

Oddly I think the peeps who gained the 'extra' stones were all thinking defense fund not lotto when the offer was made so it will be interesting to see what we do with them now

Gratz to all involved - it ran quite smoothly all things considered and the banter kept it the right side of sane :drugs: (yes even the "is it dead yet" spam)
