Not likely, London isn't really a viable place for an EU datacenter, simply because it's limited by 2 main trunks to the rest of EU. The main reason why most companies choose Paris is due to the central location and the higher amount of main trunks into the area, it's sort of a central hub for EU, where the main US/EU lines meet.

Unfortunate thing is though that it relies mostly on the Opentransit network to carry the traffic, which means that if there is a large Opentransit outage you can see most of the MMORPGs based in EU lose connection to most of the subscribers (WoW has a datacenter in Paris and somewhere in Germany iirc, DAoC in Paris for example).

Theoretically it's the best location, but in practice it's all relying on mainly one ISP/carrier to perform at 100%.

Imo sweden would be best, let Sunnet provide the customers with the game since we got one of the fastest connections in the world :)

Fastest connections, yes. But not very feasible for any customers not in Sweden.

Reason being there is, like the UK, only 2 main trunks to the rest of the EU (Scandanavia not counted) so there's still going to be problems with an EU datacenter.

Trust me, companies don't just pick their locations at random, they look at the requirements for their product and then choose the best location for it, and they go into it in a bit more depth than "but I have a 1gb line in my house, come to <insert random country with 1gb connections> we have fast internet access!" :)

Telia is just providing the bandwith, the datacenters are still located in Paris and Frankfurt.
