The _Eu part at the end did the job for me, for some reason this is not mentioned anywhere on the FAQs or guides ive read on the official site.
Anyway, its nice to be playing daoc a bit again, game seem pretty active as well =)

I can't even review my old account.. but then again it's been like a million years since i last logged on. I'd be curious to know if my old character is stored somewhere though.

Your account should still be there but when you log in remember
Username = 'Old Account Name'_eu
Password = 'Old ACCOUNT Password' - not game password.
You'll also need to navigate EA's abortion of an account management system and tie all of your old accounts (if you've more than one) to a single master account.
