at the end of the day goa are trying here to get this working or mythic so u can play ther game early and all u can do is still whine

Come on guys, your getting the game a little bit late, and it seems goa and dlgamer.com are doing their best, but some people seem to be so desperate to get the game, then are becomming impatiant and shouting? I myself ordered it from play.com 1st of april, few more days nps tbh. I dont know about where you like but today in the east of England was a really nice day, so i went out and had a game of football, instead of sitting at home "sending angry emails".

Impatient yes, yelling nope, I do understand all their efforts for helping us. So I will just keep checking my mail every 5 mins for my confirmation mail :D

Think GoA and this guy did FANTASTIC job to sort this so fast, got mine today and my ranger is hapily running about lost (or was till maitinence said to log out) tbh was pretty amazed anything was done at all

It's all due to paying for service and expecting service. Had I been informed in advance that I would not be able to buy the game on the release date this would not be a problem. Had I been informed by DLGamer before completing my payment that I will not be able to download the game this would not have been a problem either (well, at least not as big :p) So, yes, I am upset and I feel that as a customer I am entitled to be upset. This is not about shouting and yelling (or even growling ;)), it's about complaining when a complaint is due. I'm not going to apologize for that. Since I received that odd email telling me I will have to wait until 1970 until I can download the game I have received several other emails (some of them in french) telling me I can now confirm my order and the details will be emailed to me. Am I downloading yet? Nope.

So, while I do appreciate the efforts they have gone through and that things do go wrong sometimes and it is hard to judge where to lay blame I feel that I have every right to complain and when I get what I have paid for I shall complain no more. What kind of service level would we have if every buyer of a product or service just quietly accepted every failure to deliver?

tbh, anyone who thinks that sending angry e-mails to dlgamer.com about 'lack of good service' or whatever needs their heads looked at.

imo it's a damn good service, and something similar should have been made available since day 1 of DAoC release :)

The 'upgrade TOA' option is a 900mb download, for anyone who wants to do it that way and just get the cd-key from dlgamer in order to relieve the stress on their own servers, though it will put slightly more on the GOA patcher servers.

Big clap at dlgamer, they shall be getting a nice thank you e-mail from me, with a nice big 'hope you can make similar services available for any future releases cause I'll be buying from you' included in it :D

Oh I'm sure I do need to get the ol' head examined just because I expect to get what I have payed for...yes that makes perfect sense. In fact, I shall rush off this very minute to get it done. Or perhaps you could offer your expertise and do it for me? It's a very sweet little head, I can guarantee that. :D

Seriously, there's no need for blatant name-calling or the likes just because you don't agree with somebodys opinion. State your case but do it in a civil way, that way, if you do have an argument worth listening to, it will get heard instead of provoking a flame-fest.

Requiel, please tell the guy at DLgamer.com that the vast majority of people are very pleased to be using DLgamer. I myself ran into a problem with the download and I sent an e-mail asking for help. 30 minutes later I had an e-mail solving the problem - very good service indeed.

I will use DLgamer again should they have a game I want to play.

At the time of writing your complaint, you had not actually paid for anything from DLGamer, you had pre-ordered the product, but had not handed over any payment details.

How do I know this? Cause you said you had received the e-mail saying you had to wait to receive it, you said you then received further e-mails saying you could then go ahead and confirm your order, yet at the stage of receiving those e-mails, you had still not actually paid for a service, just shown your interest in pre-ordering the download from them. The final e-mail you got, that you mentioned, was the one asking you to confirm your order.

Within seconds of putting in payment details you will receive an e-mail confirming your order with the subject of "Suivi order (order number)".

A few minutes later, you receive an e-mail with the subject "Your invoice (order number)" and ONLY THEN have you paid for a service.

You failed to say whether you had received these e-mails and also failed to say if you had gone agead and paid.

And ALSO, within seconds of receiving the "Your invoice (order number)" e-mail you get another with the subject "your game DL Catacombs UK", which contains your CD-key(s) and the link to the downloads.

So, excuse me if I was saying you had no reason to complain, because based on the information you yourself provided, you really didn't.

Anything else I can help you with?

[edit] Also, looking over your posts yet again, you received the same e-mail as myself, within minutes of me placing my second order request, which can only mean that you didn't put the payment details in, cause their site won't have let you put the details in (as in the credit card number, expiry etc, through a https site) if it was on pre-order status and not on available status.
