I would rather do it the other way round, introduce a BG from 45 - 50 capped at rr5.

For the casual or new players 45 to 50 takes way longer to do than any other level range, and currently the only PvP option they have is the full blown RvR thing with rr10+ opted groups running round.

It also gives an arena to those of us that feel RAs are over-powering so we can play with a significantly reduced amount flying around

It could even be an arena with 3 keeps, and a "baby relic" giving 5% RP bonuses or something for each enemy one held, just to rr5+ people to play alts in it occasionally

love the idea tbh

Who cares, the whole idea is completely lame. Peeps just adapted their emain etc to just the main portal keeps, ie beno, bled and as usual crauch The thing is about those places is that peeps don't have to wait to get a group. Instead we'll just see a return of the crap of waiting hours for groups because there's no rvr for them solo no more or indeed there's no rvr for them fullstop. Not that I am saying that soloing is a good thing, because from experience it isn't - but at least the option is there.

However see the return of more peeps rolling stealthers because they can't get groups and they want rps and won't get them due to snobbery among certain peeps. And with DAOCTANKALOT returning in the next patch, you will see more of the old returning. SAD, LAME and complete and utter crap idea imo.

Snobbery amongst certain people... care to elaborate? You mean that some people won't group with others because of low rr/not the optimal class or prefering to play with friends they already know?...

If it's such a problem to get a group because of this 'snobbery' why not get all those who feel affected by it together and run a group yourselves, instead of whining "i cant get a group so i will reroll to an even more group unfriendly class"....

Just the way the game goes afaik, and not all groups only group friends. Just that i foresee more complaints about random groups etc which ofc we haven't had for quite some time and that peeps become easily disaffected in this game by others and their decisions - for good and bad. Thus they end up rolling another class that may or may not be for the greater good of everyone else.

You rightly point out that peeps need to change their attitudes in this game, but that applies to everyone not just to the peeps left out tbh.
