Actually a lot of Hib/Pryd don't do it, and on the whole will respect need before greed, as long as it's stated before hand.

yes but ppl also roll for it if they dont need it to then give it to someone that does need it. Not everyone is greedy.

Thats the reason why FFA is better than need before greed - simply because you cannot say if someone really needs that scroll, and its easy to sell stuff w/o anyone noticing. With FFA, items eventualy go to classes that need em, and money people get with selling gets spent for items they need.

Whatever loot rules you prefer, discuss em before the raid, and quit the raid if you do not like em.

Well, it was not quite like that.
My main reason for joining DV raid was MT3 but there was no deal from the start that there was a limit on what u could roll for.

I rolled 99 and so did another guy. Then a funny rule (which was not announced before raid) kicked in. The rule was that the one who rolled 99 first could choose first (that was not me). The other guy took the MT3 and then i took the RS3 which i didn't need on my Animist but can use on my ranger.

A couple of days later i decided to finish my template on my animist before i would finalize the one on my Ranger so i put the RS3 for sale to get the money for the MT3 that i still need.

OMG....

I know this guy.. and have known him for about 3 years and if there is one thing he isint then it is greedy...

I can honestly not belive that the guy that made this post is putting him out on the net like this... As far as i know the problem was solved in game....

So my comment is GET A GRIP.....

and we did the same thing.. we said before what we wanted.. and before we rolled we said please.. only choose that one you Need! we started that farmgroup becouse we wanted a spesific scoll.. and not just to get scroll for sell...

purpose with the DV group

1: try to get the scrolls all needed

2: roll all other scrolls if there was any rare scroll you can sell for good money! :-)
