Si for sure, that's called Shrouded Isles btw -.-
Back then there were no overpowering items and no dumping of abilities also. That said prolly my choosing boils down to the period where i had most fun, cause it was all new and shiny back then ;)

Shrouded Isles periode for sure. Though i hated ToA cause not beeing able to compeet anymore, due to usually having 50g and no bb for farmage. It whas a drag behond all drags. What they've implemented now should have done with the release of ToA and then i prolly could have voted ToA.
Most idiotic expension is Catacombs. Worse zones then SI and the classes that came with it, well.....

Chose it because it was the new area I enjoyed exploring the most tbh.

Remember when I found a village on release night that was bugged and every mob dropped an arcanite/duskwood salvageable weapon. Was farming it with Jaenelle until like 6am and made like 30plat which was an absolute fortune in those days.

Zerg event after SI was fantastic too, getting Hib it's first lvl40+ Animists/VWs pretty quick, it was also the smoothest running zerg event out the lot. Some seriously fun times :)

Savages/BDs were silly in RvR then and the necro nuke through walls bug was retarded but the game was still fresh enough for this to be no big deal in the long run (as much as we whined at the time).

I think one of the main reasons it was the best time is because Hib/Pryd hadn't lost it's community spirit yet at this point, Hib was still a rather weak realm (populationwise particularly) and so everybody pulled together, also as it had been a year since release everyone had gotten to know everyone too, so we weren't all spread out in our own little groups.

Voted housing coz im a comedian :o

Truthfully though, i couldnt decide, various stages of the game have been good & bad for different reasons.

Old school times had more peeps playing. I think we had more colorful characters back then & i guess it was more of an achievment back then to stand out from the crowd (for whatever reason). So i miss the likes of Usp,Dair & Path (original owner not me ofc),Selenia, Revminster,Basil, Xest (didnt find him as irritating back then for some reason 8-) ) to name a few hibs & even the likes of Youssef, Blood & whoever was the tosser who lived at the beetle log & chain killed me on Dard everytime i went to exp at the tree's outside alline doh: but i guess you get my drift ;p ... really dont miss the old school exp-ing & camping Treb for an archer bracer that never dropped doh:

DF was rox, i spent hours in there late at night exp-ing before the days of grey ganking.

SI was ok though i hated Galla raids & the other dungeons, that sort of thing never really got me going tbh. I liked the introduction of templates though i still think they missed the boat somwhat with this idea, you should never have been able to cap / max all or most of your stuff, you should have had to choose (High crush, med slash, low thrust for example) but i digress !

Housing ... best evah .. norly 8-)

ToA great expansion though they got it wrong again & imo caused the population decline we still see today. I do like the expansion, but i miss my mates who didnt more though :'(

NF, Cata, DR, LoTM all a bit of fluff, would have been real cool to have all this with the games original population, ho hum, roll on WaR :o
Fighting Enviro-crime irl 8-)
