Try and colonize other regions than your own - makes it harder for people to annihilate you.

Yeah well, i first need resources to make a fleet and some more research anyway

I'll try to help you with some resources, but as I've just built my 3rd planet it might be hard to help you. Especially as I need to build up a couple of defences on two of my planets (atm I just have my fleet as defence on one of them). My main planet has 20 Light Lasers, 5 Missile Launchers and 8 Heavy Lasers

Atm I've got no spare resources

Edit: To trade resources, Shipyard(level 2)/Combustion Drive(level 2) is required as you need small cargo ships (or big ones - but they take more research)

Edit2: To get Combustion drive - research : Energy Technology(level 1),Research Lab(level 1)
