Every now and again I find myself here, on the Prydwen.net forums. Still miss you guys after all these years. Don't play RPG anymore - tried a few since DAoC, Asheron's Call, Guild Wars, World of Warcraft but realised it wasn't the gaming I missed but the people. Haven't met a better bunch to have fun with in game since Soul Pact.

Some screenshots below. This is how I remember DAoC.

Hibs first successful RvR raid:

Some of you may remember that I remained lvl49.5 for at least a year. It was early days in DAoC, the XP grind was boring and RvR was kicking off properly for Hibs on Prydwen once we got on relatively equal footing. Any XP i got from lvl 49 to lvl 49.7 was killing the rock giant on the way to Emain. Eventually, when lvl50 armour came in, some peeps in Soul Pact decided I had been lvl 49 for long enough and took me into Bog of Cullen to ding 50. These are those lovely people:

Memories... The early days in DAoC were so much fun, good old times!

Not playing anymore either, but still have fond memories of prydwen.

You're so right Luuna - its the people which made it so special - I think specifically hib/prydwen was such a tight knit community. So cool seeing so many familiar names in your screenshots. Best times in any game ever :o

I still think of DAoC as the best game I played, it was the community and friends I made within it, and even some of the drama that came from it that made it so. They simply won't make a game like this again; things and people have moved on so much.

Prydwen I salute you!
