I read a review and tbh it doesnt sound very good. You only exit your vehicle very rarely...but the graphics are nice tho.

ya but the cars have lasers and machine guns. why would you wanna exit it

True, but I personally don't see much fun with being stuck in a vehicle all the time. Had it been a combination of combat with cars and on foot it would have been a totally different matter.

well like i said
my friend is addicted to it
Appt he got swarmed by mutated spiders yesterday
You move by using arrow keys or WASD keys
Double click to pick loot up - quest items are auto looted
He said only thing he didnt like was when you craft you have to zone. The merchant is just inside the zone point so it seems like a waste of time
Also due to the poor distribution thing, the servers are quite low populated.

ok got the game
First impressions.
Heh wish you could actually adjust youre char face abit more as they look abit nasty but besides that
Lets face it - driving at 80mph thru mobs shooting at you is kinda kewl
Havent worked out the combat system yet
seem to be shooting at mobs but not hitting them. think my mouse cursor has something to do with it but not entirely sure
Then ill splat a mob within 3 secs
bizarre
Ooh did i mention you can run over mobs to kill them also?
They give a nice squelch animation
oh yea
for those peeps who enjoyed 'starship troopers' there is a mob that looks distincly familiar
also you cant crush them with your car
so first impressions - when i work out the combat this is gonna be brill

Im DLing the 14 day free trial today, so will be on it tonight, then if i like it /wave DAOC and im going to live with nana
