if you get a quest that say for example, kill 50 emo kids, if you happen to be in the same area as someone else killing emo kids you are rewarded for his kills even tho you are not grouped

So people can actually just sit in a city or at some road afk all day and do quests and get xp for it? Sounds engaging, hope it doesn't work that way.

I can see 30 people standing near the emo kid camp arguing who should kill them.

It doesn't actually work that way (for all that we know/leaked out right now).
Public Quest system means that when u enter a zone u are automatically granted the Public Quests related to that zone (they are story driven it seems and revolving around tasks to do). They only said that, despite u are alone, group of 2 or with a Raid Party, u'll be able to do your part in achieving the objectives of Quest. Of course the more u are involved the bigger will be the Reward.

Might have one, will check tomorrow or day after.

Also having just played the introduction i would like to say the combat system seem kinda engaging and the gfx may not be amazing but its far from bad. Like i went to this hunter lodge last night and it looked quite good.
