Why oh why is Ukraine doing so well, if this is anywhere near serious - i.e. people actually like the music they're voting for and it's not really political then the whole of Europe needs to be destroyed

The voting does seem very odd - a lot of it is blatantly political (Belarus/Russian love etc.) but at the same time I'm not sure why Israel votes for Belarus because I was under the impression they weren't particularly strongly tied politically. Is say, our taste in music in the UK really so much different to the rest of Europe
