ok joining a bit late to conversation but its not long since i started browsing this forum...

well i didnt have any opinion on english goverment (now its just blind followers of US policy as i see it) but some other posts are not only about that, so i saw few flaws in some posts from my point of view here we go:

Because if enough people don't vote you end up with a Dictatorship or "one-party" state? At which point those not voting would wish they had taken the time to vote.

I think the best example of a people not taking enough interest in voting or what they were voting for was Germany in the 1930s, remember Hitler was elected!

However crud our politicians are today, none of them are quite that bad!

first: well US goverment+allies (both got politicians) atmo that killed and killing lots of ppl like Hitler did ... with concentration camps over the world/warmashines that destroy everything and many major companies that manifacture weapons or comming after destruction to "rebuild" or to profit after that (dont forget he was seening that this was right way and many germans followed him to this doom-dream)
second: the election of Hitler was supported by many ... he actually tried many times to get power in Germany until he succeded and was also "pushed" by the "restrictions" and obligation to pay them that allies put on Germany after that WW1 also followed by economic crisis all over the world

peeps keep saying america and britian were wrong to start this and perhaps they were however sadam and the ppl in charge were pure evil to those peeps who lived there. But the only reason they went in in the first place was because when they first got there they ASKED if they could have osma and sadam refused. Peeps forget that bit...

than dont see things from the wester part of view ... in the Easy its not "democracy" and i doubt it ever be so called democracy ... they got rulers (aka kings) who can be called presidets etc and voted but u ever see same ppl from same family on throne (father->son->grandson etc) and their rulers have absolute power over the life and death of their subjects. Belive me it was like this from long long time ago and will be like this for long long time from now, so considering those i wouldnt say his regein was pure evil as u say, perchaps bad from our point of view yes. Than they ASKED to give Osama? Than they said Iraq got weapons of mass destuction ... than they said ... and list goes on ... and in the end we see major petrol companies benefiting from Iraq pertol (oh ye and their facilities are guarded by mercenaries there and they are many there btw aka. Blackwealth mercenary company and others), they never found Osama there as well, the coutry is in absolut chaos, killing everywhere, britch and american soldiers turchuring iraqi and others in new concentration camps (aka. Guantanamo and many others)
i dont want to remind u about Kossovo and Serbian incedent years before ...
when before in british press and all over other world albanias was called killers/reapers etc than it all suddenly changed (BBC in 1996-7 was at least i saw it) and Serbian suddenly became the bad dudes...
so "NATO" desided to help (UCK = albanian liberation army also one of the bigest drug and weapon dealers in the world atmo) ... the did the same in Afganistan with the "Northen alliance" (on the same foot: one of the bigest heroin pruduction and destributers in the world)

after searcing for about 30mins i conclude that youre correct and my memory is faulty.
The only reason america went to iraq was because of the weps of mass dist.

could have sworn on my parents lives that they used the osma-was-there thing tho at the time but no record exsists so my memory must be wrong

/edit or maybe im just getting confused between countrys.
Did they ever invade a country after asking for them to give up osma and the leaders refused?

i might remind u that american authorities had refuged the Osama family from US right after the event in fear of some1 hurting them as resposible etc... as they had very nice comercial relationship with rest of his family (Osama and his Al'Khaida dudes were trained and armed by CIA as well btw and was they "favorite child" when Soviet Union invaded the Afganistan in 1980 ... strange huh? same story with Sadam btw as before he was very nice partner to US and they provided him weapons and other stuff as well to counter Iran in the wars between those 2 countries...)

there is only 1 thing bechind any war on this planet (when 1 county invades other) whatever the reasons are (ideological/political/religious or whatever) the main reason is ECONOMICAL ... Iraq=petrol&gold (mostly petrol though), Afganistan=petrol&drug dealing(CIA is one of the major drug dealers as well btw since Vietnam war), Serbia(Kossovo)=one of the biggest places with Uranium/Vothramion and other rare&precious metals ... like Russia on the same foot is in war with Chechnija=not cause they forgot something there or anything but cause there is petrol there (petrol=money)


edit. the war in Iraq btw started without approval from the United Nations ... Us first applied there but 3 days before vote the first bombs where droped (the 3 countries desided to make a strike were US, UK and Spain) as France said they would claim they right to veto the voting as well as Russians and the Germany also was opposed to this
so there 3 "partners" went bombing together but first deviding the zones from witch their petrol companies would be getting oil ofc
