Wow you really are bitter!
Get out of bed on the wrong side or what?
You make so many assumptions which are completely & utterly wrong.
Most of my RvRing was actually done in a dedicated 8-man, not in a zerg, and not with cheapskate com-software either.

This must've been before you turned 30 and became mature I assume? Haha I must've really touched a nerve yesterday I guess :D RvR & PvP are not the same, silly boy :p At least, they're not for me. Even if RvR ended up getting turned into PvP in DAoC it wasn't ALWAYS that way. At the beginning we ha...

Maybe that's the key to it Ovi, well spotted. Casual PvP is a lot of fun and, while DAoC had the best PvP concept, it was ruined by the rush to be uber leet templated/ML'd/CL'd chars out there for this and that bonus etc. It's not all about elitism is the point i'm trying to make. Maybe elitist DAo...

I've been thinking about this a lot recently. I played since beta, then several years in US, then a few more here. I spent the best part of a RL year pretty much living in Emain on my US Warden, back when Wardens were still used as sweepers & interrupters, before ToA turned them into boring BG-bots....

I though OohhoO and Gandelf had both played one of the most PvP advanced games ever? How you both could have missed the immense PvP potential of DAoC if totally beyond me. TBH, plz stick with LotRO. I'd hate to have to kick you from my group in WAR when we're PvPing left and right We didn't miss it...

the boring old manic-depressive fart stereotype that you seem to be suggesting is somehow superior The majority of LotRo players are over 30. The majority of LotRo players don't want any PvP or the mindset of PvPers in the game. Coincidence? I'd also suggest that the majority of LotRo players proba...

Q: Dear Auntie Martha, I like to gank & grief other players. Is this normal? A: Yes, this is a perfectly normal part of the process of growing up & learning to assert yourself, and there are 3 possibilities which might help you:- 1) Wait until you are mature enough to grow out of it (this normally o...

so now you've posted the disadvantages of PvP what about the advantages? I don't see any above that I personally consider as advantages. Which might be why 80%+ of LotRo players want no PvP at all. Alternatively they might just be too mature to get any enjoyment from senseless ganking & winding othe...
