Not seen it, Satyn. Xest, I agree with you on the "unquestionably" bit. They need to take feedback from the players. The "customer is always right" bit is a little dubious though, for a number of reasons. I'm sure GOA would argue that any action they take is what they think the majority of players w...

Generally, in life, there is no one person who says whether things are right or wrong. I agree that in our situation someone has to set the rules, but they may well be in error when they do so - being in charge doesn't reduce fallability. In those situations, it should be an option for the people in...

Firstly - bye Thand and Satyn. I know we've had our ups and downs but I had a lot of good times with the two of you. Not played for a while myself, but it still makes me sad to see good players leaving DAoC. Talking about Alarm Clock raids, it's clearly against the spirit of fairplay. Any kind of op...

Think I started Hib/Pryd Oct 2002. Started first in Feb 2002 but on Mid/Excal.

If only we could get the 2002/2003 populations back, the game would prolly be as good as anything else on the market atm.

Surely staying on your chair while playing is your own responsibility, Gandelf? If you keep falling off, I can't see how blaming Mythic is gonna help you.

City of Heroes has a LFG type flag and it doesn't get used much either, but the game did give me an idea. I noticed that groups are formed by people using the character search facility and just /sending with invites. I think this is one of the reasons CoV has so many groups going, despite its not pa...

That's not as true as it once was since the changes to the BGs, theoretically it is now possible to level in, albeit a limited form, RvR. It's not ideal, but it was a step in the right direction. True, but some people would not enjoy that type of RvR much, either. It's just an unfortunate fact that...

[quote="Genedril"]Some peoples idea of bliss is getting 8 lvl 50's & making sure they're all ml10 & CL5 - it makes them feel as complete as there characters are] Possibly, but even if that is true, it's clear the game supports the former much better than the latter. This is why we end up with people...

Personally I think it's wrong, the time you put into a game should be the deciding factor in what you get out of it. This hits the nail on the head, for me. The reason what you get out should be decided by time, is because ALL you should need to get out of a game is fun. If you could measure fun/ho...
